The San Jose Sharks recalled forward Brad Staubitz on Monday from the Worcester Sharks, the team’s top development AHL affiliate. Staubitz has appeared in nine games this seaon for San Jose, posting an assist and 25 penalty minutes.

The San Jose Sharks announced today that Center Joe Thornton has been selected as the Seagate &ldquoSharks Player of the Month&rdquo for the month of December. The award was presented to him prior to Saturday′s game against the Islanders.
